Please feedback on my design.

So far there have been a lot of designs using the Great Blue Heron which is great but please don''t feel limited to just that. If you go to Bon Secour NWR''s website there are list of species on the refuge. The one thing we really would like in the design is it should have some of our dune habitat incorporated in to it. Thank you for all the great submissions so far. After somediscussion and thought we have decided to remove some the bird species thatwhere originally listed as well as reemphasize what we are looking for.  As for the list of bird we really want tofocus the logo on those species that represent the dune habitat as well as ourpurpose. Here is the refined list: American Oystercatcher, Snowy Plover, BlackSkimmer, Willet, Caspian Tern, Sandwich Tern, and Least Tern.

 The designs we will beconsidering must be clear in their depiction of the species that it is representing.We will only consider species they are found here and they must have accuratemarkings if they are displayed. The design must also incorporate the habitat into it. The refuge is way more than just wildlife we provide the habitat thatthey need to survive. In saying that, the habitat that is represented mustembody the refuge.  

We are NOT a corporation, there for we are not looking for alogo that a corporation would use. We are looking for a logo that represents therefuge as well as inspires people to care about this wonderful place. We wantit to entice a sense of passion about the habitat, wildlife, and the place. Wewant it to make people want to care for and protect the refuge.  We are also not opposed to logos with color(we do love ourselves some color) however we just want it to be able to convertto gray scale and black and white if needed.
