Resumen de Diseño Web

I need to redesign a web application that enables to browse a media server (Serviio) contents (images, audio, video) and play it in a web player.

This refresh is aiming to:
1) make the application simpler, based on typology (think Windows Metro style, YouTube, Netflix); a simple fan concept is here: http://serv.fredricz.com/serviio/
2) make the application work on desktop as well as touch screen devices (ie no hover functionality, no pagination, large touch controls)
3) fast (remove unnecessary animations)
4) design with the app being responsive in mind

The attached UX designs show the basic flows in the application. Please note that the placement of controls (for example) is not set in stone and I welcome your input on the layout.

Ideally the default theme will be dark. Items' thumbnails will be square place holders, with images fit in them depending on the item icons' aspect ratio.

Also attaching the product's logo (Serviio) and icon. The web application's name is MediaBrowser (or Serviio MediaBrowser), so it should be included in the design (the UX designs include place holder Serviio logo in the left top corner).

The main categories for each file type are (you will have to provide an icon for each of these):
- Audio: Albums, Artists, Album artists, Folders, Genres, Composers, Titles, Random music, Random albums, Last listened, Playlists, Online
- Image: Albums, Folders, Year, Month, Playlists, Online
- Video: Titles, Movies, Series, Folders, Last viewed, Last added, Genres, Actors, Directors, Producers, Release years, Playlists, Online
