So as per file 2, the design should be place around text only: the area to fill is only where there is red typo? Are you looking to have colors, if so do you have any particular preferences?
Please confirm this.

Hi Nadia, we can go with color but I would prefer it to be very mutted. Black/White is also great.

For a great design we can work the copy around it. What we are hoping for is something that unites the two pages. As you can see by the second page there is a list of companies that we need to keep in tact. We can play with placement on the left page. Does that help?
