Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a logo design for a new blog site (that could well evolve into an interactive web site). The focus will be on male health and wellness with an emphasis on life balance, pro plant based diet and being active.
The site will be www.everyday-guy.com and the point is, it's intended to be relevant to all (normal, regular guys) with a play on the idea of doing something, everyday that promotes health and/or wellness.
It should have a rather minimalistic, casual feel to it. I would like it to be inviting and will be ultimately promoting a fresh perspective on lifestyle, making lifestyle changes surrounding better 'life balance', food and exercise. It is my plan to develop this brand into promoting the virtues of a plant based diet, fitness training services, life coaching, sports massage and a blog.

I am currently a regular corporate slave by day and a passionate endurance triathlete when not enslaved. Having made some life changes I have adopted a vegan diet and am thinking of using a strap line 'Powered by Plants'. Interpret that as you will... :-) My story revolves around a very 'average' late thirties life change which now includes Ironman competitions, plant based diet, better spiritual awareness and, basically, a much more balanced, healthier, happier life. The point is, I'm just an everyday guy and therefore anyone can choose to make changes - I'm no super hero... This site (and therefore the brand/logo) should try to fit with this intention.

I like the http://www.jamieoliver.com/ simplicity for example. I also like the more retro feel of the Jamie's Italian. Given the generation I am likely to appeal to the retro vibe would be appropriate - but not mandatory.

As the domain name will be hyphenated I would be interested to see options including a 'plant/vege' based hyphen... Just ideas...
