FCRS is a small professional services company---offering Mediation and Arbitration services to facilitate the resolution of conflicts - typically civil lawsuits in their early stages.Two parties come with totally opposite perspectives of what will satisfy them....and the process guides and facilitates them to give and take - finally negotiating a settlement that both can live with (are equally unhappy with. One symbol is 2 circles (or squares or other equal shapes or 2 different shapes (since the parties have 2 different positions), ie., a circle and a triangle) overlapping one another. One circle is one party's position - the other the other party's position. The area where they intercept is the area where Mediation hopes to end up.

Even though I am a lawyer, these are NOT legal services. In Mediation a mediator (does not have to be a lawyer) can not provide any legal opinion or advice. In Arbitration the arbitrator (does not have to be a lawyer) listens to both sides and renders a decision for one side or the other.

One thought had been to combine a silhouette of the State of Florida with some symbol of the services to be provided, perhaps abstract, of reaching agreement---hands shaking...2 people shaking hands (man and woman)...two shapes overlapping one another. The combination of symbol and state can be superimposed or not touching.
