Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Here's the deal. We're a small(ish) group of people in a brand new, almost-completed, debt-free, built from scratch gorgeous church located across the street from an "international" airport (we're close to Canada, in rural up-upstate New York). We have some sweet home-based "life groups" on weeknights and are building a community with relationships throughout our area. Christians loving Jesus, wanting to show their neighbors and their community A. that they exist and b. that they want to show God's love to them.

Our name is Airport Christian Fellowship.

We've relatively recently relocated to our new building and gone through the process of changing our name. Now we're working on our corporate identity and we're in need of a logo!

We'd love a recognizable one, one that embodies or exemplifies our mission statement and core values.

Our mission statement is: “Our mission is to live in the light of Jesus: revealing God’s love, restoring true hope, transforming lives”

Here are our 8 Core Values:

The Bible - We believe the Bible is the Word of God, the foundation for all that we do.

God - We draw our life from an ongoing relationship with God.

People - We pursue authentic, loving relationships with people inside and outside the church.

Integrity - We submit all aspects of our lives to God's standards of honesty and holiness.

Leadership - We fulfill our vision through the leadership of qualified, Spirit-filled individuals.

Growth - We become more like Jesus and help others to do the same.

Relevance - We love our neighbors by sharing the Gospel in a targeted and accessible way.

Excellence - We honor God and serve others by pursuing a high standard in everything.


Here's a snippet from our Pastor:
The hymn Amazing Grace has been used to speak powerfully to my heart in the past year. “Through many dangers, toils, and snares I have already come. His grace has brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.” I am trusting in the coming year the Lord will make His grace more real to us and through us than ever before. It is very easy to see that there are still problems and challenges before us. Loved ones are experiencing difficulty; losses have been experienced with deep grieving that continues on; things hoped for seem distant and beyond our reach. At the same time the saving grace of Jesus continues to manifest as we discover He truly is willing to meet us anywhere and everywhere. His love for us individually and corporately is immeasurably deep and unwavering, and our experience with His love continues to deepen. Praise the Lord!


(Also we do not want a lighthouse involved in our logo. No lighthouses. Thank you!)


Ideally a designer who's interested in this project loves Jesus and picks up what we're putting down. That's not required, however! We love you all the same and would love for someone to come alongside us in the next step on our corporate identity journey. Thanks, and can't wait to see what you come up with!
